Save the Date! SORA Spring Webinar – 3/12/2026

Save the date for SORA’s first webinar of 2026! We’ll be learning about the State Library of Oregon’s resources on Thursday, March 12, 11 am to noon. Follow the link here to register for the event.

Please join Jerry Curry and Natalie Brant from the State Library to learn about the resources available to state employees. They will demonstrate best practices for utilizing the state library assets and databases, as well as demonstrate professional development tools and touch on legislative research options.

If you’d like to activate your state library account before this session, it only takes a moment. From our State Employee resources page https://library.oregon.gov/ click on “Log In” on the upper right. Log in with your OR number and any password. Then you will receive a password reset email at your state email address, and your account will be active.

Jerry Curry has been a reference librarian at the State Library of Oregon for over 27 years specializing in legislative research, sciences, and government information. He also serves as an editor of the library’s eClips electronic news clipping service.

Natalie Brant is the Reference Coordinating Librarian at the State Library of Oregon. She specializes in Legislative research, health and education policy and government information. Natalie has been with the State Library for about 8 years.
