SORA Spring Webinar: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Panel Discussion

Join SORA and a panel of experts for a discussion on AI, its uses in state government, and the restrictions and policies coming down the pike. We’ll be using Slido Q&A to gather questions for our panelists, and you can submit questions or vote on which questions you’d like answered starting March 21. We will send out a notification to our listserv with the link when the Q&A opens for questions and voting.

Panelists include:

  • Joe Cheng is the Chief Technology Officer and first employee at Posit, PBC (formerly known as RStudio), where he helped create the RStudio IDE and Shiny web framework, along with countless complementary tools and packages.
  • Hector Dominguez Aguirre (he/him) is the Privacy and AI Coordinator at the City of Portland and part of the Smart City PDX program.
