SORA’s Spring Meeting Sparks Great Discussion
Almost 50 people attended the State of Oregon Research Academy’s most recent event. Two great presentations enlightened the group.
- Endangered: Youth in the Labor Force. Nick Beleiciks, State Employment Economist, Oregon Employment Department
- Toward Making Oregon a Better Place to Live, Work and Play. Clair Clark, Assistant Budget and Policy Analyst, Department of Administrative Services
The group was lively as Nick discussed young people (16-24) leaving the labor force, and were intrigued with how Clair and her team designed and implemented a website designed to track the success of Governor Kitzhaber's 10 Year Plan.
